New patients are always welcome at Bartram Dental Center. Dr. Jason Lewis and Dr. Royce Barlow take time during your first visit to understand your dental history, listen to concerns, and answer questions thoroughly.
Our digital forms can be completed at home before you arrive, saving time at check-in. We accept most insurance plans and are in-network with St. Johns County School District Humana Dental Insurance. We also offer a Wellness Program for those without coverage.
What to Expect at Your First Visit
Plan for about 2 hours. Your doctor performs a complete examination including digital X-rays, checks all teeth and gums, and screens for oral cancer. We talk through your dental history and any current concerns.
If treatment is needed, we explain what we found, why it matters, and what your options are. You’ll receive a clear cost estimate before any work begins, and we never pressure you to move forward before you’re ready.
Fill out your new patient forms online from home instead of using a clipboard in the waiting room. The secure forms work on any device and saves about 15 minutes when you arrive. You’ll need basic information like your insurance details, current medications, and medical history. Bring your insurance card and photo ID to your appointment.

We accept most insurance plans and are in-network with St. Johns County School District Humana Dental Insurance. We also offer a Wellness Program for those without coverage.
No Insurance? Our Wellness Program Covers You
The Wellness Program gives you preventive care and treatment discounts for one annual fee. No deductibles, no annual maximums, no waiting periods, no pre-approvals.
Wellness Plan: $575/year (saves you $495) Two exams, X-rays, two cleanings, fluoride treatments, emergency visits, oral cancer screening, and a digital bite scan. Every three years you get a panoramic X-ray and 3D CT scan. Plus 15% off any treatment you need.
Wellness Plus: $775/year (saves you $900) Everything in the standard plan, but with up to four cleanings instead of two. Designed for patients who need more frequent cleanings due to gum disease or other concerns. Same 15% discount on treatment.
Unlike traditional insurance, the discount applies to cosmetic work too. You pay once a year instead of monthly premiums.
Financing: Break Up Costs Without Interest
12 Months Interest-Free Both CareCredit and Cherry offer a year of no-interest payments if you qualify. The application takes a few minutes and approval is immediate. There’s usually a minimum treatment amount of $200-300.
Longer Payment Plans Need more time? Both companies offer 24, 36, or 48-month plans with interest. Your monthly payment depends on how much you finance and which term you choose.
Pay as You Go We accept cash (ask about our discount), checks, and all major credit cards. Payment is due when services are provided unless you’ve arranged financing ahead of time.
